This place used to be great….. two years ago. Came back to give it a shot and unfortunately I was so overwhelmed by the smell of Clorox throughout the restaurant I decided to get my food to go only to discover the food was over cooked in the rice was so dry it felt like it was going to crack my tooth. (they also forgot my utensils)
I wish I could say that the staff was at least courteous and helpful. I was given attitude just for asking for some sauce.
I feel sorry for the owner. Your employees make or break the business
By the way, I haven’t done a review in years and that should tell you enough to know that you should be warned.

I usually go to the location on Mae Anne but this one was much less busy which I liked. Very friendly phone service and great food. Would absolutely eat here again.

I provided Hunter, the worker there, PROOF of my order and he stated that he never got the order and that there was nothing he can do about it because his manager was on a “plane to Texas”. I asked him for a refund and he stated he could not help me! They literally stole money from me and I will be reporting this to my bank!!!!
Ordered the katsu plate with rice and macaroni salad. Good combo. The sauce was good and had a unique flavor. It's a little pricey even for just two people ($36 without drinks) but it's good to go there every now and then when feeling like getting a quick meal to go.
I’m a local from Hawaii and this is unacceptable. The chicken Katsu meat is so thin and when you eat it it’s like nothing but bread. I had a hard time even tearing the chicken apart! Where’s the meat in general I paid $20 for this?!
Big fan of L&L but this specific L&L isn't it. If the drive isn't to far, the one off Mae Ann is miles better. The rice was super undercooked while the chicken was over cooked. All I could taste on the chicken was soy sauce, didn't have the familiar BBQ chicken taste that I'm used too. The service was good but the food isn't worth the $40 for two plates and a spam musubi. Definitely won't be going back.
I order the bbq short ribs which gave me stomach indigestion due to being so salted it could have been given anyone a heart attack. The pasta was so over dressed and no flavor. Don’t eat here unless you want food poisoning.
It was first time coming here. knowing that I just moved from Las Vegas to Reno they are quite different not similar just different . I liked the part that they have patio area in front of it. A little pricey for the food but that is my take. Same flavor.
